System Management

Hi there! My name is Vitalie Ciobanu and on this page I will shortly tell you some things about me and how started my IT life.

I didn’t started using the computer many-many years ago; there are only around 6 years. More exactly, I’m in this field from 2003, when I joined the Computer Science faculty knowing almost nothing about it and buying a new PC one month later. I still remember how somebody laughed on me because I didn’t know how to activate a cracked version of Norton Antivirus .

With every month I started to like and understand what IT is about.

In one year I started creating and selling (for free ) web sites in HTML, XHTML, CSS, PHP and MySQL. All these brought me my first job, as a part-time webmaster at Alcaz Consult. In my second year I volunteered as an IT Helpdesk in my University. In this period I have learned very much from my colleagues in the IT department (btw, thanks guys!). In the third year, I started testing Microsoft beta products (servers, desktops, applications etc.), I’m one of those who have used Vista from its first builds (and saw many blue-screens during that period ) and I saw it changing build after build… In my fourth and final year my dream came true, I have joined Microsoft at the Global Technical Support Center in Bucharest as a Helpdesk Technician. My dream ended after one year, one month and one week . After Microsoft I joined Crescendo International as a Customer Engineer in the Advanced Software Infrastructure Solution Team. Here I started to work with SMS and SCCM. And so I started to like system management technologies so much, that I decided to create this blog where I can write about my experience with these things. 3 years later I moved along to Maguay Impex, the company is the only one OEM System Builder on the Romanian market and also Intel Technology Provider Platinum Partner.

This is my short IT life. If something else happens from now before, you’ll know by reading this page.
